Itinerary
Leg1: Exmoor & North Devon (approx 120 miles). Start near Taunton and head straight onto the A39 through Exmoor National Park via Minehead. Enjoy the sweeping bends and coastal views past Lynmouth and the Valley of the Rocks.
A358 Taunton to Williton. A39 to Linton. Still following the A39 to Blackmoor Gate. A399 passing through Combe Martin to Ilfracombe. A361 to Barnstaple. A39 through Bideford along the coast to Bude, slipping onto the B3263 to Boscastle ending this leg at King Arthur’s Castle.
Continue along the Atlantic Highway (A39) through Bude, heading towards North Cornwall.

Leg 2: North Cornwall to West Cornwall (approx. 130 miles). Ride down the coast past Tintagel and Port Isaac. Take the stunning B3306 coastal road through Zennor into St Ives – a brilliant, technical section for bikes.
Continue down to Penzance and take the tip of the peninsula around to Land’s End and the Minack Theatre.

Leg 3: South Cornwall to Plymouth (approx. 110 miles). Head east past St Michael’s Mount and the Lizard Peninsula. Wind your way along the quieter B-roads toward Mevagissey and the clay mining country around Minions.
Cross the Tamar via the bridge into Devon.

Leg 4: Dartmoor back to Somerset (approx. 140 miles). Pick up the roads heading straight across the wild, open expanses of Dartmoor National Park (watch out for free-roaming ponies and sheep).
Cruise north through central Devon and back across the Somerset border to complete the loop.
